Digi Night Out is just THREE days away! Do you have your ticket yet? Are you ready to get your scrap on?! Well, let’s get ready. Here’s a quick rundown of what to bring and a schedule of events for Digi Night Out December.
A laptop, with a scrapbooking program/photo-editing software. For most digital scrapbookers this means any version of Photoshop or Photoshop Elements, but it could also include Paint Shop Pro, Gimp, Creative Memories or various other editing programs. If you don’t have a program yet, Adobe offers a free 30 day trial of their latest versions of Photoshop and Photoshop Elements. (I recommend Photoshop Elements for beginners.)
Your laptop power cord.
Photos you want to scrapbook. You may want to sort through your photo collection ahead of time and pick out what you want to scrap, which will save you time once you’re at the event.
Any scrapbooking kits/papers/embellishments/templates you might want to scrapbook with. Again, this is totally optional because you will be receiving a FREE kit when you arrive at Digi Night Out. So even if you don’t already have any supplies, you’ll at least have a fun new kit to play with!
External hard drive – if this is where you store your photos and digital kits you’ll definitely want to have this!
Camera, to take pictures (and later to scrapbook) the event, of course!
Drinks & snacks. You will probably want to bring something to eat, since the event starts during dinner hours and lasts all night. Please be mindful of the technology in the room and only bring bottles with lids that screw on tightly, and snacks that aren’t super messy. Water will be provided.
A friend. 🙂 Because the more the merrier! But none of your friends are into digital scrapbooking? Well, just bring them to the Beginner Workshop and they’ll be hooked in no time!
SEE YOU ON SATURDAY!!
