With Digi Night Out less than a month away, I thought it would be a good idea to start getting prepared. So here’s some ideas on what you’ll need to bring, as well as the schedule of events.
A laptop, with a scrapbooking program/photo-editing software. For many people this means any version of Photoshop or Photoshop Elements, but it could also include Paint Shop Pro, Gimp, Creative Memories or various other editing programs. If you don’t have a program yet, Adobe offers a free 30 day trial of their latest versions of Photoshop and Photoshop Elements. (I recommend Photoshop Elements for beginners.)
Your laptop power cord.
Photos you want to scrapbook. You may want to sort through your photo collection ahead of time and pick out what you want to scrap, which will save you time once you’re at the event.
Any scrapbooking kits/papers/embellishments/templates you might want to scrapbook with. Again, this is totally optional because you will be receiving a FREE kit when you arrive at Digi Night Out. So even if you don’t already have any supplies, you’ll at least have a fun new kit to play with!
External hard drive – if this is where you store your photos and digital kits you’ll definitely want to have this!
Camera, to take pictures (and later to scrapbook) the event, of course!
Drinks & snacks. The hotel will allow us to bring these, but please be mindful of the technology in the room and only bring bottles with lids that screw on tightly, and snacks that aren’t super messy. 🙂
A friend. 🙂 Because the more the merrier! But none of your friends are into digital scrapbooking? Well, this is the perfect way for them to see what digital scrapbooking is all about!
7:00-7:30 Door Prizes & Set Up

And don’t forget, we’ll have prize drawings throughout the evening so
you won’t want to miss any of it!
Hopefully this gives everyone a better idea of what to expect at Digi Night Out. If you have any questions, please let me know! Happy Scrapping!
